Eligibility Criteria

Dr. B. C. Roy Academy of Professional Courses is currently offering 7 courses that are designed as per the university standards and the requirements of the industry. Students are required to cater to the BCRAPC course eligibility criteria to strengthen the chances of selection to the final round of counselling and admission. 

The eligibility criteria of the courses offered by BCRAPC is governed by the directives of AICTE and MAKAUT, WB and is amended in sync with the University guidelines. The current course wise eligibility guidelines, as prescribed by AICTE and MAKAUT, WB can be viewed as under:

The BCRAPC course eligibility criteria as per the courses are mentioned below – 

BBA (Bachelor in Business Administration) 

The applicant should – 

  • Be a citizen of India
  • Passed / Appeared / due-to-appear in 2025 at the Higher Secondary Examination in General or Vocational Stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent / Undergraduate program as prescribed from a recognized Board / University.
  • Successful candidates once admitted in affiliated colleges or in the University, will have to undergo special pre-requisite audit bridge program, as decided by the university, if required.

BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) 

The applicant should – 

  • Be a citizen of India 
  • Passed / Appeared / due-to-appear in 2025 at the Higher Secondary Examination in General or Vocational Stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent / Undergraduate program as prescribed from a recognized Board / University.
  • Successful candidates once admitted in affiliated colleges or in the University, will have to undergo special pre-requisite audit bridge program, as decided by the university, if required.
  • Students having Mathematics/ Statistics/ English/ Business Mathematics/ Computer Science/ IT/ Information Practice/ Computer Application as one of the subjects at 10+2 level will be preferred.

BBA in Hospital Management 

The applicant should – 

  • Be a citizen of India 
  • Passed / Appeared / due-to-appear in 2025 at the Higher Secondary Examination in General or Vocational Stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent / Undergraduate program as prescribed from a recognized Board / University.
  • Successful candidates once admitted in affiliated colleges or in the University, will have to undergo special pre-requisite audit bridge program, as decided by the university, if required.

BBA (Supply Chain Management) 

The applicant should – 

  • Be a citizen of India 
  • Passed / Appeared / due-to-appear in 2025 at the Higher Secondary Examination in General or Vocational Stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent / Undergraduate program as prescribed from a recognized Board / University.
  • Successful candidates once admitted in affiliated colleges or in the University, will have to undergo special pre-requisite audit bridge program, as decided by the university, if required.

Bachelor of Optometry 

The applicant should – 

  • Be a citizen of India
  • Passed / Appeared / due-to-appear in 2025 at the Higher Secondary Examination in General or Vocational Stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent / Undergraduate program as prescribed from a recognized Board / University.
  • Successful candidates once admitted in affiliated colleges or in the University, will have to undergo special pre-requisite audit bridge program, as decided by the university, if required.
  • Students having Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics as the subjects at 10+2 level will be preferred.

B. Sc. in Medical Lab Technology 

The applicant should – 

  • Be a citizen of India 
  • Passed / Appeared / due-to-appear in 2025 at the Higher Secondary Examination in General or Vocational Stream under the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or it's equivalent / Undergraduate program as prescribed from a recognized Board / University.
  • Successful candidates once admitted in affiliated colleges or in the University, will have to undergo special pre-requisite audit bridge program, as decided by the university, if required.
  • Students having Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics as the subjects at 10+2 level will be preferred.
