The department of Optometry and Vision Science of Dr. B. C. Roy Engineering College Academy of Professional Courses will be observing the World Optometry Day on 23rd March 2021 to celebrate the inauguration of the Optometry Clinic by the Hon'ble President of BCREC Society, Dr. Satyajit Bose as well as organising a Free Eye Checkup Camp from 10.30 am to 4.00 pm by the faculty and students of the Optometry Department. Dr. Phalguni Mukhopadhay will adorn the programme as the Chief Guest. Mr. Tarun Bhattacharya will grace the occasion with his gracious presence. Free eye checkup facility will be offered to the first 50 patients only (first come first serve basis).
There will also be a Poster Exhibition by the Optometry and B.Sc. MLT Students and free spectacles will be distributed to 10 needy patients.
